Был бы шедевр абсурда и постиронии на уровне Идиократии, если бы не вторая половина фильма, которая просто руинит все. Номинацию за монтаж и скор нужно выдавать кст. Остальное все мимо.

То, что он divisive не особо мешает на этапе номинаций, а вот на этапе победителей, уже да. Тем более в этом году строго 10 фильмов номинируется. Не отвалится.

Ну ты написал, что 80-е это худшая декада именно в истории американского кино. Тут многие не согласны, в том числе и я, но никто не утверждал, что "величайшее кино снималось именно в Штатах в 80х и 90х, лучше никогда не было и не будет." Потому что великие фильмы снимались до войны и не в штатах. 20-е и 30-е в СССР недосягаемы.

Это то худшее десятилетие в котором вышел один из лучших научно-фантастических фильмов в истории (Blade Runner), лучшие американские фильмы на тему классовой и расовой борьбы (Reds и Do the right thing), один из лучших фильмов Скорсезе, Де Пальма господствовал, куча хоррор классики.
