В каких категориях остаются непонятки на кого ставить: Best Actress (Mikey Madison vs Demi Moore vs Fernanda Torres) Best Documentary Feature (No Other Land vs Porcelain War) Best International Film (I'm Still Here vs Emilia Perez)

В лонг-листах 5 актеров указано. По мне, очень гармоничная ансамблевая работа.

Я, кстати, забыл, что CAS тоже раздаёт после оскаровского дедлайна, так что вряд ли есть смысл не ванговать Дюну на Оскаре. ASC аналогично, так что возможная победа там Носферату вряд ли поможет ему на Оскаре.

Я считаю, что здесь сложно назвать фаворита. Ты хочешь сказать, что "No Other Land" - явный фаворит? Но "Porcelain War" тоже на важную актуальную тематику. Я его посмотрел, он послабее, чем "20 Days in Mariupol", но тоже важный документ эпохи, в которой мы живём. "No Other Land", кстати, посмотреть бы.

"All the Beauty and the Bloodshed", "Time", "Faces Places" - тоже сгребали всё у критиков. Вся Академия голосует в доке с сезона 2013 года. За это время без номинации БАФТы выигрывали "20 Feet from Stardom" и "O.J.: Made in America". Без номинаций гильдий (причем минимум двух) не выигрывал никто. Лауреаты Оскара, проигравшие на БАФТе: 2019 - American Factory (победа у DGA, номинации ace, pga) 2017 - Icarus (номинации dga, mpse)

Если выиграет CAS, то я скорее всего буду ванговать Злую в звуке. А у лауреатов в звуке мощная корреляция с лауреатами в монтаже. И плюс британские лауреаты БАФТы уязвимы. Конклав - фаворит, но у Злой, думаю, есть шансы. Аргумент. Но все-таки чтобы брать Оскар нужна хотя бы одна крупная победа, либо чтобы ни у кого не было побед как было в сезоне 2017 года (Icarus vs Faces Places). У "Porcelain War" есть важная награда - DGA. Почему оскаровские академики должны быть более благосклонны к "No Other Land", чем британские академики?

У Холидей отличный перфоманс, и фильм хороший, просто у соперниц фильмы прям культовые.

Между прочим, в документалке палестинский "No Other Land" так и не выиграл ничего крупного, и по гильдиям у него ноль номинаций, в то время как украинский "Porcelain War" выиграл DGA, был номинирован у гильдии продюсеров и операторов, но на БАФТе даже в лонг-лист не вошел. "No Other Land" лидировал в прогнозах весь сезон с самого начала, но сейчас я склоняюсь, что док на российско-украинскую тематику выиграет третий год подряд.

Я тогда как раз 1ю часть пересмотрел перед просмотром 2й части. Вроде да.

Будут говорить, что Уоллес выиграл анимацию, потому что британский. А по мне так это реально лучший мульт в году.

Ну он явно лучше, чем "The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse", у которого тоже был Энни+БАФТА перед Оскаром.

Хм, British Film Editors в этом году наградили Конклав, Уоллеса в анимации и Супер/мена в документалке...
