Синопсис:

Shawn and Vik long to get out of their small Oklahoma town, where their affinity for Japanese culture and anime films isn’t embraced by their fellow teens. When Vik’s family takes in a Japanese foreign exchange student, the boys eagerly embrace the opportunity to bond over a long-lost anime film. However, the DVD electrocutes the trio, inexplicably altering the teens in the process. Suddenly, they possess strange new abilities: they can fly, slow down time, break things with their mind – the possibilities feel endless. Their powers couldn’t have appeared at a more convenient time as Y2K is slowly approaching, and with it, a series of threats only our heroic trio is prepared to face.
