Harley Quinn narrates the movie and frequently breaks the fourth wall.

Harley decides to become a good person after being dumped by the Joker.

Black Mask is a sadistic mobster who is obsessed with art and implied to be gay.

Victor Zsasz is a serial killer and Black Mask’s main enforcer. Black Mask flirts with him a lot.

Cassandra Cain is a motormouth street kid who works for Black Mask to support her family.

Black Mask tries to retrieve a valuable diamond, but things go wrong and Cass ends up swallowing it in order to later sell it to get her family out of the streets.

Black Mask begins chasing Cass to cut the diamond out of her stomach, and Cass runs into Harley, who decides to protect her.

Huntress infiltrated Black Mask’s organization to kill him to avenge her family, and begins searching for Cass to use her to get close to him.

Black Canary is a retired vigilante turned nightclub singer who gets back into action to save Cass. She has the Canary Cry.

Renee Montoya is a lesbian detective investigating Black Mask and finds out the diamond is actually a data drive with something Black Mask desperately wants, and presumes it to be criminal information.

Eventually, Harley, Huntress, Black Canary and Montoya team up to protect Cass and together they defeat Black Mask and Zsasz.

Movie ends with the revelation that the diamond contains Black Mask’s stolen dick pics.

R-rated Tarantino-esque balls-to-the-walls action comedy.

Not very faithful to the comics. Different origins, different personalities, different character dynamics, no costumes.

Batman has been missing for a few years.

Joker is Jared Leto’s version, created through a combination of stand-ins, sound-alikes and archive footage from SUICIDE SQUAD.

Black Mask only wears a domino mask, never gets scarred.

Test-audiences reportedly liked it very much, especially the villains.

First Act

Cassandra Cain is poor and lives on the streets and is constantly stealing for her family and after doing it so long she’s pretty good at it. She steals a diamond from a flamboyant underground kingpin Black Mask (Roman Sionis) who owns multiple businesses and several clubs. she’s on the run, and eventually encounters Harley Quinn, who has recently split with the Joker and was kicked out of the house. Harley has a lot of fun with Cassandra and they go out and buy food for Harley’s hyena (named Bruce Wayne) during all of this Romans goons are constantly after them.

Second Act

An assassin who works for Black Mask (Huntress) learns that Roman was the reason that her family is dead. She goes completely off. Huntress turns on him attempts to kill him, but fails and now on the run too. Huntress still wants to kill black mask and her only shot at doing that was through cass. So now she’s on the look for her. Dinah Lance, a retired vigilante and a singer for Roman hears about the diamond, and steps out of retirement in order to save Cassandra from Roman. Renee Montoya notices the rise in killings in Gotham and decides to do some work on her own. She knows that the GCPD won’t be able to stop a kingpin as big as Roman she takes matters into her own hands. Since Black Canary, huntress, and Renee are all after the same girl, they all come together at some point. Roman gets a mask but it covers only half of his face and the mask itself is an art piece.

Third Act

BoP is formed and constantly has more of Romans goons after them. Cassandra cain ends up being retrieved by roman, and the Birds of Prey and Renee Montoya have to join together in order to get her back. (This is the reshoots they were doing). Roman is defeated, but is set up for a potential sequel. The ending twist is that the whole fuss about the diamond was that it had Romans pics on it.

Some other minor plot points:

-Cassandra is a motormouth who kicks ASS

-The Kill count in this movie is ridiculous. The BoP has no problem killing at all.

-Huntress is very sarcastic. Similar to Jessica Jones. She gets her mask and costume.

-Most of the BoP has worked for Roman or has known him through some other way.

MOST IMPORTANTLY

Black Mask kind of runs shit. Yes Roman’s gay (he wears a ton of eyeliner), but is entirely cold blooded. Shows no remorse for anyone. Would kill Women, men and children in a heartbeat if benefits him like it’s his 9-5.

The script and acting are both fantastic. It’s just up to Cathy Yan to make this movie good.

Basically Logan + Charlie’s Angles + A Tarantino movie + Deadpool humour.

Do NOT take your children to this movie. Lots of F bombs, dark humour, and blood.

This movie is completely CHAOTIC. Bonkers. But they make it work. Nothing like most comic books movies.

Certain scooper is saying that new cut of BoP got rid of something from the original. It got huge negative feedback online when Grace Randolph blatantly posted her spoilers (somewhat inaccurate). WB pls pls pls don't go back on your clown shit. Not for this movie.

 

What if I told you that Grace Randolph is an s tier hack and everything that she posted (again... semi-accurate) was actually good and she only made it seem to be the worst thing ever just to clout bait??
